Hi ,
I've had 6 views for my last post but no followers yet, I'm not surprised as Depression can become quite contagious when you start talking about it......
Today, my head was just as troubled as yesterday. I bumped into a lady I knew on the bus and she was shocked by the change she saw in me. 'When I last saw you, you were confident and you knew where you were going. You've lost your confidence and need to re-build it again' or words to that effect. I told her I was looking for some place new to live and in a roundabout way the troubles I have been having at home. She told me that she had seen that someone at her work had placed a message in the staff room advertising a room that was going £60 rent a week and she would get the details to me. I think it would be good as the situation at home is becoming more and more unbearable.
I'm saddened by how much my troubles have changed me in the last 10 months, much more than before - I don't recognize myself anymore, I'm all hollowed out!!!. My opinions and feelings towards certain family members have changed and I feel intimidated by those who I used to hold so dear.
More tomorrow.
It takes a while to build a following. Don't worry about that, though. Just keep posting because you enjoy it and it's healthy for you. Followers will turn up.
ReplyDeleteMay I suggest you do one thing at the end of each blog entry? Write a sentence in which you express your gratitude for something.
Example: Today I am grateful for hot coffee and toast.
Today I am grateful for the bird I saw hopping down the pavement.
Today I am grateful for 'The Big Bang Theory', which made me laugh.
Whatever you notice in the day that you feel grateful for having experienced. The smallest things are often the best ones to write about, because those are things we forget to notice.
